Coverage - screenplay, teleplay, treatment, manuscript or short  

Coverage is an essential element in Hollywood. It is an analysis and synopses used by entertainment executives to evaluate if a project meets their needs. All coverage that receives a "Recommend" rating is considered for the StudioNotes Weekend Read. The standard set of coverage is a minimum of two to three pages.

Weekend Read

StudioNotes provides you the opportunity to have your material read by top agents, producers and directors within the entertainment industry. This is the type of break that could place you on the road to discovery.

Our development executives select from all notes submissions and "recommended" coverage those projects they deem ready for immediate acquisition or representation. If our staff deems your material ready we guarantee exposure to our growing list of over sixty top affiliated agencies and production companies through the StudioNotes Weekend Read.

No more than three screenplays per Weekend Read are chosen. This gives us the ability to fully promote your project. It also assures our affiliates that is it's on the StudioNotes Weekend Read it's worth taking a look at.

Individual Consultation   

Once your initial feedback is complete you have the option of requesting a one-on-one phone conversation with your development executive. These in-depth discussions with our executives can be invaluable in polishing your material. Writers have used these consultations to question story points, work through potential solutions, and receive further insight from their development executive. We highly recommend this service. All consultation takes place over the phone.

The standard set of manuscript notes is a minimum of thirteen pages. All manuscript submissions are considered for the StudioNotes Weekend Read.
